Patterns: Part two

The below pattern is called a “Little Anything Muppet.” It was first published in Good Housekeeping in 1969; it is my understanding that it is in the Public Domain.

The body and arm and hand patterns were drawn by me. All patterns should be made as large as will fit on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper.

You CAN alter this head pattern! This pattern will make a smallish “Kermit”-shaped head. You can give your puppet a cone-head, or elongate the nose and mouth for a more dog or fox-shaped head. You can also just enlarge the whole thing by re-drawing it larger on a paper grocery bag. You can also play around with different shapes and sizes using paper grocery bags, and taping the patterns together to get a sense of their size and what they will look like. Or, you can use the above, unaltered.
